Bates House of Turkey is a family-owned Alabama legend where folks gather for dishes like our famous hickory smoked turkey sandwich and our old-fashioned roast turkey dinner. It all started in 1923 when the Bates family opened our free-range turkey farm. As the farm became more successful, we opened the doors to our restaurant in 1969 just 12 miles down the road from our farm, and the rest is history.
