Roast Turkey Dinner
Friends traveling to Florida stopped today for lunch. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. Health Dept rating of 96. Definitely recommend and will visit again.
Roast Turkey and Dressing
We've stopped every year for over 10 years on our way to and from the beach. The turkey and dressing is always delicious and we always save room for peanut butter chocolate pie. Also, since we're usually in a group of 10 or more, the quick service is a plus.
The Gobbler
Stopped at Bates House of Turkey on my way home from Montgomery to Pensacola Beach after passing it for years and never stopping — and now I'm wondering why I waited so long. I got the Thanksgiving plate (turkey, dressing, and two sides). I skipped the cranberry sauce and chose cabbage. The girl taking my order was sweet as could be, and my food was ready within minutes. The turkey was juicy and tender — really, really good. The dressing had good flavor — I just personally prefer a little more sage, but that's just me. The cabbage, though? So good. I'll definitely be back. Can't believe I've been driving past this place all these years without stopping!

Sliced Turkey
We heard about Bates House of Turkey about three years ago. We stop on our way to Florida and buy enough to freeze part of it for later. We also stop on our way back home for more. It is the best sliced turkey I have ever had, it is delicious!

We always stop at Bates whenever the time is right as we travel through the area. The most recent stop was 9:30 am. It is never too early for a delicious turkey dinner. The food is always great and the staff is friendly and courteous.
